How it works

Pay for caregivers who actually worked.

You pay $8 per active caregiver each month — no hidden fees, no paying for idle staff. A $49/month base rate acts as a deposit: it covers your first 6 workers, and you only pay extra once your team grows beyond that.

A caregiver is counted as active only if they were assigned to and completed (or started) at least one shift during that billing month. Staff who are employed but had no shifts that month are not charged.

When your 30-day trial ends you'll be asked to pay the $49 base rate to continue. This acts as a deposit — at $8 per active caregiver, it covers your first 6 workers. Your account goes read-only until payment is made, no data is lost.

Yes. If your organisation has 5 or fewer caregivers you can stay on the Free plan indefinitely with no credit card required. You'll only be moved to Pro if you add a 6th caregiver or choose to upgrade voluntarily.

The $8/caregiver rate and $49 base are the standard Pro defaults set by ShiftDove. Your platform admin can review these from the admin console, but individual organisations cannot change them.

Yes, all Pro and Enterprise billing is in USD regardless of your organisation's local currency setting.
